The uncomfortable bench


The specimen:
Twin headboard and footboard that has seen a hard life. The drama is cutting the footboard in half without crying. It's a sleigh bed darn it. It's like a massacre. 

Here it is put together painted and distressed. Little plywood, foam and some fabric and it will be ready to go.


Finished product with 2" foam and outdoor canvas fabric.

Just finished sanding the top. Love the pinstripe detail at the edge.
